My hacked blog

This is a very serious matter. 



This is what exactly happened:

July 29, 2010


It was 2am-ish that time I think, and I clicked on a link to yahoomail.com using Safari as my browser. There I saw only 2 emails in the account and the rest of the emails were all deleted.


I thought Yahoo was behaving funny, and refreshed the page. After that I saw a notice popup saying that I need to log in again. I tried, but with no avail of course, the freaking password was changed.



I checked livejournal, and I was told by livejournal.com to log in. I tried, and the password was changed as well.

And the hacker deleted my blog aswell -_-

Since livejournal only gives out passwords to email accounts, I cannot get back my lj password, as lazyboyrap@yahoo.com was being hacked.

I tried to get back my yahoo account by getting yahoo to send my password to my secondary email, but my secondary email received nothing, even with repeated tries.

At that point I just gave up D: I feel like I'm going to collapse or have a cardiac arrest or something but then I remembered that my MSN password is the same as my yahoo's!


I quickly turned on the computer again to change it. This was around 4am already.
I used google chrome as a browser and clicked on my bookmarked link of Yahoomail.

To my utter surprise, IT LOGGED ME IN.

Quickly, I changed my password and security questions. 

I noticed that the name was changed to Mr. Dương Anh Dung . 

With the link that Livejournal sent to my other account to retrieve my password, I also managed to get my livejournal account back. But all the files, blog posts and pictures were completely gone :"(

Well that's that.


I want to do something about this! Can I report the hacker to the police or something? I'm afraid that they'll just laugh at me and tell me it's not a big deal coz it's just a blog.


JUST A BLOG? Can't you see?!? Almost all of my pictures from 2006 to 2010 are posted there!! This hacker also deleted all my old 2,000+ emails as well as all my blog entries of 3 years!! Plus all the hardwork in blogging and all the memories!! However the big mistake that I did was to rely and store all my pictures on the blog itself and not saving it on my hard disk -_-


It's unfair that the hacker can get away like this!
